Hello 2011 blog world. Welcome to A Breath of Fresh Erin! My NEW BLOG. Well, technically it is not new, since I created my blog back in September (and have yet to make a post)! But alas, a NEW YEAR with an exciting new goal...to actually blog!

I would first like to introduce my NEW FRIEND on my new blog.

Meet Mr. Oinks.

We met on a beautiful Saturday morning at Orr Reed Wrecking Company (a great place for interior/exterior architectural salvage and home design finds). Mr. Oinks is the store pet at Orr Reed and if you call him by name, he will wag his tail! Although I was slightly distracted by my new furry friend, I knew I was there for an important salvage search. My NEW(est) home PROJECT!

I wish I could say I thought of this new home project all on my own, but I was inspired by Design Sponge, a fabulous design blog I visit frequently! So thank you Design Sponge for your inspiration and thank you Clay for allowing me to embark on our newest home project...our study!

I am sad to say, our study has been terribly neglected. This room has been on my to-do list for what feels like forever. I have tackled most of the rooms in our house, but wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do with this one! My solution for the past couple of months has been to close the study door in avoidance, but seeing that my study project list** is complete...we won't be shutting the study door for much longer!
